Why the triptych 'Everything changes on Earth'?

Since childhood I have heard music in my head, from simple melodies to orchestral symphonies. It makes me happy and gives me hope and confidence.

In 1989 I worked as a researcher in organic farming. At the weekend I tried to make a career as a singer-comedian, because my head was with science, but my heart was with music. That year I recorded ten songs of my own about healthy food and environmentally friendly farmers, hoping that my life path would become so clear and that I could follow my heart from now on.

The reviews were positive, but sales faltered. Disappointed and downcast my life took an unexpected turn; I met Irene Lutz and Marion Hoensbroech (now von Ginant), who invited me to develop resonance therapy (now ECOintention) with them.

It became, and still is, a unique journey of discovery along a path, which you cannot take by choosing one or the other, but only by connecting one with the other, so head with heart. So one plus one equaled three and the music went down.

Everything changes on Earth

During the corona pandemic, an old heart desire came up to make a hopeful sound with music. If one moment is right for that, it is the special time we live in right now. No sooner said than done…. the music was given room to sing and swing again.

Searching for repertoire, two new songs ‘Everything changes’ and ‘With Rosalinde in the light’, supplemented by the previously written ‘Earth’, turned out to form a beautiful triptych, entitled ‘Everything changes on Earth’.

With united forces

Looking for a pianist to accompany me, I found Puk van Hout, who turned out to play not only the piano, but also alto and tenor saxophones and also sings beautifully. Immediately polyphonic arrangements sounded in my head. We practiced for two afternoons and went into the studio for two afternoons, where René Bloks professionally recorded everything.

Pieter Wackers made recordings of the ‘making of’ and incorporated these into beautiful video clips, in which images of nature and our blue planet tell the story of ‘Everything changes on Earth’, because it is not about us personally, but us. as part of the big picture.

Puk, René and Pieter, thank you very much for the cooperation and your help in making my heart’s wish come true. I am very happy with the result and hopefully the listener-viewer is too. ‘Everything changes on Earth’ and that means: don’t wait, but get started with united forces!
