Positive ECOintention results after three years of research (2016)

Research in 2014, 2015 and 2016 confirms the positive effect of ECOintention

Managers, project leaders and guardians have more time for themselves, are more relaxed and achieve their goals better. Better organization, communication, production and financial condition in the company. This is apparent from a 3-year study into the effect of ECOintention. The research was done in projects of 3rd and 4th year students of the vocational training to become ECOintention Practitioner. The study confirms the results in 2005, 2007 and 2008.

The financial situation is good
To investigate the effect of ECOintention, the project guardians received a questionnaire at the start of the project, after 4, 8 and 12 months, with eleven statements about their well-being and the state of their company/project. For example: ‘I have time for myself’, ‘I realize my goals’, ‘The financial situation of my company is good’. The guardians indicated the extent to which they agreed with the statement on a scale from 1 to 7. This way their opinions could be compared at the beginning and end of the process.

Significant results
The research in 2014, 2015 and 2016 shows that the appreciation for all statements increases compared to the start of the ECOintention. The increase is statistically significant in 87% of the statements. In 2005, 2007 and 2008 there were comparable results. (See below)

The 3-year study shows that at the end of the ECOintention process, managers, project leaders and guardians experience an improvement in all examined points in themselves and in their company or nature reserve. They have more time for themselves, are more relaxed, have more self-confidence, feel healthier and achieve their goals better. In their company/project they experience better organization and communication. In general, it works more often than not. Production improves and financial resources increase.

Green means a higher and red a lower value than the 0 measurement. A number in bold represents a statistically significant change. Rating: 1=poor, 2=unsatisfactory, 3=mediocre, 4=sufficient, 5= more than satisfactory, 6=good, 7=very good.

Wide range of projects
80 managers (guardians, business leaders, nature managers, etc.) were involved in the study. They represented very different projects; agricultural and livestock companies, nature reserves, estates, green areas, schools, shops, consultancies, foundations, online shops, a magazine, a scientific research institute and a bank.

The 3rd and 4th year students gave their project ECOintention for a year. This happened on average three times a week, alone or with another student. To bring back the energy and flow in the projects, they used different energetic means that work on the basis of resonance. There were also project visits every 6-8 weeks during which the situation was checked on site and there was a coaching conversation with the guardian about the development. Center for ECOintention supervised all projects.

Three years of research in 2005, 2007 and 2008 proves the positive effect of ECOintention

In 2005, 2007 and 2008 the effect of ECOintention was investigated in projects of 3rd and 4th year students of the vocational training to become ECOintention Practitioner. The results of 2005 and 2007 had been known for some time. The 2008 results were announced in April 2008. It is therefore possible to provide an overview of three years of research.

93 companies and nature reserves
62 students participated in the study. They balanced 93 projects. Most of these projects were located in the Netherlands, but also in Poland, Ireland, France and Eastern Tibet. There was a wide range of projects: including nature reserves of Natuurmonumenten and Staatsbosbeheer, the chestnut trees of the Municipality of The Hague, agricultural and livestock farms, tree nurseries, shops, schools and education centers, an advertising and architectural firm, a beauty salon, an art library, a road construction company. and an Irish rugby club. The students balanced a project for a year, on average three times a week, alone or with another student. The balancing was performed at home using a project plan. For vitalization and healing, the students used resources from their own energetic home pharmacy, including positive attention, music, colours, homeopathic remedies and symbols.

Research into well-being and prosperity
To investigate the effect of the ECOintention, the project guardians were given a questionnaire with twelve statements about their well-being and the state of their company/project shortly after the start, halfway and at the end of the ECOintention. For example: ‘I have time for myself’, ‘I am achieving my goals’, ‘My company’s financial situation is good’. The guardians indicated on a scale from 1 to 7 to what extent they agreed with the statement. This made it possible to compare their opinions at the beginning and end of the project.

Reliable results
The research shows that in 2005, 2007 and 2008 the appreciation of all statements increases compared to the start of the ECOintention. In 2007 the increase is significant in 83% and in 2005 and 2008 in 92% of the statements. Three years of research shows that managers, project leaders and guardians at the end of the balancing with ECOintention experience an improvement on a large number of points in themselves and in their company or nature reserve. They have more time for themselves, are more relaxed, have more self-confidence, feel healthier and achieve their goals better. In their company/project they experience better organization and communication. In general, it works more often than not. Production improves and financial resources increase.

In 2005 and 2007, the guardians noted the most improvement in the financial condition of their company/project. A significant improvement was also noted at this level in 2008. On average, all students had the same positive results. This shows that everyone can learn to balance remotely and thus improve the return and vitality of companies and natural areas on a large scale.

Everything grows better…
“Everything grows better. The new plots also performed better than last year. The hail damaged many maize plants. This is not the case in our area. Our maize is in excellent condition. It feels good. It has changed us as humans in thinking and doing. We were also able to lease 8ha of land from Staatsbosbeheer.”

Everyone seems to know or find their place…
“A lot of things have definitely changed in the right direction since we’ve been treated with the ECOintention. For example, the situation with the employees on the estate has improved a lot. “My experiences up to the event are definitely positive. Personally, I have the impression that a lot has happened and has been achieved in the past year. Even harsh measures such as firing two permanent employees ultimately benefited mutual trust and enthusiasm. Landed in calmer waters…
“When we decided to have our company balanced, we were positively critical. Critical, because we didn’t know what to expect. Positive: because we felt that things could and should be done differently. To continue like this would mean our downfall. Before we started ECOintention, we were in very big trouble. Mentally we were almost destroyed. Thanks to the ECOintention, the problems have not yet been completely solved, but we have entered calmer waters. We have no regrets that we have taken this step and are looking forward to a bright future.”
